From Socfindo Conservation to Community

As part of Socfindo (CSR) program, the Socfindo Conservation Foundation is hosting a series of projects with the aim of impacting positively the environment and the community welfare around the company. Some of the projects carried out under the Socfindo CSR program are seminars and training on making fruit vinegar and eco-enzymes for the village communities and paramedics of public health center around Dolok Masihul District and South Tapanuli Regency, in collaboration with the Indonesian Eco Enzyme Volunteers (REEI) and the Indonesian Green Culture Foundation.

Two products were discussed during the workshop: fruit vinegar and eco-enzymes. Fruit vinegar is a type of vinegar made by fermenting fruit juices. These are rich in vitamin C, which may boost body immunity, prevent cell aging, and eliminate fatigue. Fruit vinegar is also a great source of magnesium, which is an important part of your body's signaling system.

On the other hand, eco enzyme is a multipurpose liquid that is produced from the fermentation of organic waste. Some of the functions of this product include mopping liquid, kitchen cleaner, fruit and vegetable cleaner, insect repellent, and plant fertilizer.

This activity was attended by the head of the Socfindo Conservation Foundation, Mrs. Luluk Williams, the head of the Indonesian Green Culture Foundation, Mr. Bathara Yusuf, the Head of the Eco Enzyme Indonesia Volunteer Mr. Ramot Lumban Tobing, and their team. The event was also attended by the Camat, Danramil, and Paramedics at the Dolok Masihul Sub-district Health Center.
