Socfindo Conservation Foundation Chairwoman Mrs. Luluk Williams Attended as a Speaker with the Topic “Preserving Nature with Socfindo Conservation”
Socfindo Conservation participated in the seminar session Positive Impact to Oil Palm: From Sustainable Cultivation to Global Benefits. The Chairwoman of Socfindo Conservation Foundation, Mrs. Luluk Williams, attended as a speaker with the topic “Preserving Nature with Socfindo Conservation”, which highlighted the harmony between oil palm productivity and nature conservation. Through her presentation, she explained how Socfindo Conservation represents PT Socfindo’s real commitment to preserving biodiversity while empowering local communities through conservation programs and a herbal plant-based circular economy. Centered at Bangun Bandar Estate, the program has now collected more than 1,500 species of herbal and family medicinal plants (TOGA) from various plantations across Aceh and North Sumatra. This participation demonstrates that the palm oil industry can grow hand in hand with environmental conservation and sustainable community economic development.

National Seminar on Food Security and Socfindo Conservation Product Exhibition
Socfindo Conservation participated in the National Seminar on Food Security. The event was held by the Indonesian Christian Intelligence Association of North Sumatra together with the Cooperatives and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Agency and Bank SUMUT. The head of Socfindo Conservation, Ny. Luluk Williams who was a speaker, presented about our plant collection, our home-made products and how the project contributes on food security around Socfindo’s community. Our team also displayed some of our home-made products in the exhibition.
