Aquaponics Workshop for Agrotechnology Students from Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi at Socfindo Conservation
Twenty-eight students and six lecturers from the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi, Medan, visited Socfindo Conservation as part of a field study. The visit included an educational tour introducing participants to Socfindo Conservation's collection of medicinal and herbal plants, followed by a workshop titled "Aquaponics: One System, Two Outputs." The workshop explored the integration of aquaculture and hydroponics as an efficient and sustainable farming method. The visit provided participants with valuable learning experiences while strengthening the collaboration between Socfindo Conservation and educational institutions in promoting agricultural innovation and environmental conservation.

Traditional Herbal Drink (Jamu) Making Workshop for Pharmacy Students of Universitas Senior Medan
A total of 52 students and 1 teacher from the Pharmacy Study Program of Universitas Senior Medan visited Socfindo Conservation to learn about various herbal plants and their benefits. During the visit, the students toured the herbal garden and participated in a traditional herbal drink (jamu) making workshop as part of their learning experience on the utilization of medicinal plants. Throughout the activity, the students showed great enthusiasm in exploring different types of herbal plants and actively took part in the jamu-making practice. The program provided an engaging learning experience while enhancing their knowledge of how herbal plants can be processed into products that contribute to health and well-being.

Kombucha and Grass Jelly Making Workshop with the Radio Maria Women's Group
The Radio Maria Women's Group visited Socfindo Conservation to learn about various herbal plants and their benefits. During the visit, they toured the herbal garden, participated in a kombucha and grass jelly making workshop, and visited Sehatea Café to enjoy lunch and sample a variety of herbal teas made from medicinal plants (TOGA). They also had the opportunity to observe the herbal product processing activities through visits to the Tea Factory and the Kombucha House. Throughout the program, the guests showed great enthusiasm and actively sought information about the practical uses of herbal plants in daily life. Through this activity, it is hoped that the knowledge and experiences gained will broaden their understanding and inspire the adoption of a healthier lifestyle based on the utilization of herbal plants.

Training on Traditional Sinom Herbal Drink Making for Students of SMP Swasta Juanda Tebing Tinggi
Socfindo Conservation received an educational visit from Grade IX students of SMP Swasta Juanda Tebing Tinggi, attended by 76 students. The activities included a field tour to introduce various herbal plants, as well as technical guidance on making Sinom herbal drink. The students showed great enthusiasm and excitement while exploring the garden and practicing how to make the traditional herbal beverage. Through this activity, it is hoped that the experience and knowledge gained will provide valuable benefits and inspire the younger generation to appreciate the use of herbal plants and preserve the tradition of jamu culture in the future.

Training on Granola and Yogurt Making for Chemistry Students of FMIPA Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU)
Socfindo Conservation welcomed an educational visit from students of the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Sumatera Utara, attended by 29 students and 2 accompanying lecturers. During the visit, the participants had the opportunity to join a technical guidance session on making granola and yogurt as part of learning about healthy food products based on natural ingredients. Throughout the activity, the students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in every session, from touring the TOGA (Family Medicinal Plants) area to practicing how to make yogurt and granola. They also enjoyed various food and beverages served at Sehatea Café.

Educational Visit of SD IT Insan Mulia Tebing Tinggi to Socfindo Conservation
A total of 37 students from SD IT Insan Mulia Tebing Tinggi conducted an educational visit to Socfindo Conservation. The activities included a garden tour, where students were introduced to various herbal plants in the TOGA area and learned about their benefits. The visit also featured a hands-on aloe vera planting session for the students. The students showed great enthusiasm and interest in learning directly about herbal plants and simple planting practices. The visit provided an interactive learning experience aimed at increasing students’ awareness and knowledge about plants and the environment from an early age.

Training on Kece Latte and Kombucha Making for SMP Pelita Kasih Medan
A total of 27 students and 3 teachers from SMP Pelita Kasih Medan (Grade IX) conducted an educational visit to Socfindo Conservation. The activities included a TOGA garden tour to learn about various herbal plants and their benefits, as well as technical training on making Kece Latte and Kombucha. The entire program was carried out with high enthusiasm, with students actively participating in each session. In addition, both students and teachers enjoyed food and beverages at Cafe Sehatea, adding to the overall positive experience. This activity is expected to broaden students’ knowledge and increase their interest in the creative and sustainable use of herbal plants.

A total of 103 students and 12 teachers from SMA Al Hidayah Medan conducted an educational visit to Socfindo Conservation. The activities included a garden tour to learn about various herbal plants and a technical session on making ice cream. The entire program was carried out in a cheerful and interactive atmosphere, with students showing great enthusiasm while exploring the TOGA garden and participating in the ice cream-making activity. It is hoped that the experience and knowledge gained will be beneficial in their daily lives.

Educational Visit of Avicenna Childhood Homeschooling Medan to Socfindo Conservation
A total of 36 students and 8 teachers from Avicenna Childhood Homeschooling Medan conducted an educational visit to Socfindo Conservation. The activities included a visit to the oil palm plantation to observe the harvesting process, learning to plant legumes, and getting to know heavy equipment such as excavators, followed by a tour of the TOGA garden and technical sessions on making ice cream and grass jelly. The entire program was carried out in a cheerful and interactive atmosphere, with students showing great enthusiasm throughout all activities. It is hoped that the experience and knowledge gained will be beneficial in their daily lives.
