Tempe-Making Training for Women in Kampung Yaman and Bangun Rejo Villages

The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) participated in the inauguration of renovated classrooms at SD Negeri 112322 Padang Nabidang, conducted tempe-making training for PKK women from Kampung Yaman and Bangun Rejo Villages, and provided nutrition and hygiene education for preschool children. During the tempe-making training, participants received hands-on learning on the tempe production process, starting from soybean selection and boiling, fermentation, to proper and hygienic packaging techniques. To support the sustainability of the program, participants also received assistance in the form of production equipment and materials so that the skills acquired could be directly applied and developed into an additional source of family income. In addition, as part of its commitment to biodiversity conservation, PT Socfin Indonesia – Aek Pamienke Estate also released 20 Victoria Crowned Pigeons and 100 domestic pigeons into their natural habitat as part of efforts to support environmental conservation.
