Aek Loba Allotment Program for Food Security and Community Income Enhancement

08 May 2026

The Socfindo Ladies Association (KISS) conducted a visit to Aek Loba Estate as part of a series of CSR activities focused on community empowerment and health education. The activities included tempeh-making training for the communities of Ledong Timur Village and Aek Korsik Village, accompanied by the provision of equipment and production materials to support hygienic and economically valuable home-based businesses. KISS also visited a local tempeh-producing MSME capable of producing around 50 kg of tempeh per day as a form of support for improving community production quality. In addition, PT Socfindo Aek Loba Estate has developed the Aek Loba Allotment program, a community-based food crop garden that helps local communities meet household needs while also generating additional family income. The activities also included “My Plate” and 3S (Healthy, Simple, and Balanced) education sessions for students of SDN 010123 to promote healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.
