Socfindo Conservation and Tanjung Maria PKK Collaborate in Creative Skills Development
Socfindo Conservation (TSC) had the privilege of serving as a guest speaker in a two-day training event organized by the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group of Tanjung Maria Village, held on June 17–18, 2025. On Tuesday, June 17, the training focused on making lantern lamps from yarn, followed by a workshop on creating flower bouquets from paper currency on Wednesday, June 18. All activities ran smoothly, and it is hoped that these trainings will enhance the participants’ skills and open up new entrepreneurial opportunities for the women of the Tanjung Maria PKK group.

WORKSHOP
A visit from SMKS Muhammadiyah 16 Pon Village Senior High School.
Teachers and students from Edu Global School Medan visited Socfindo Conservation to learn together through workshops on making healthy noodles, using natural and beneficial ingredients such as moringa leaves. The activities aimed to introduce the importance of nutritious lifestyles and the creative use of natural resources.

Training on Making Flowers from Corn Husks: A Collaboration between TSC and the PKK of Ujung Silau Village
Socfindo Conservation participated as a guest speaker in the PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment group) activity of Ujung Silau Village, Block 17, delivering a session on 'Making Flowers from Corn Husks'. This activity is expected to enhance skills and create economic opportunities for the women in the village. TSC remains committed to making a positive contribution to the surrounding communities.

A visit from “Kiddos Explorer Community” School.
Socfindo Conservation (TSC) welcomed a visit from the Kiddos Explorer Community from Medan, consisting of 83 participants, including children and parents. The activities included an educational tour of the conservation area, a planting technique learning session, and hands-on practice in making traditional jamu sinom (herbal drink). The visit was met with great enthusiasm from all participants. It is hoped that through this activity, the participants—especially the younger generation—can gain new insights into the importance of environmental conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources

VISIT
Socfindo Conservation as a Platform for Cross-Cultural Learning and Local Product Promotion
Socfindo Conservation (TSC) had the honor of welcoming a delegation of 15 guests from SSPL/BB, Tanzania, along with representatives from GAPKI. The visit included a lunch provided by the TSC canteen and enjoyed at the café, followed by a tea cupping session, shopping for various tea products, and an educational tour of the TSC area. This visit served as a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and the promotion of locally-produced, sustainable agricultural products to international guests

Workshop on Dining Etiquette & Table Manners, and Bed Making & Bathroom Organization.
Socfindo Conservation held a Workshop on Dining Etiquette and Table Manners, as well as Bed Making and Bathroom Organization, for the Socfindo Ladies and Wives Association (KISS). In this workshop, participants also learned about table setting, including the use of chinaware, hollowware, glassware, and silverware, as well as variations of table settings in Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Middle Eastern, and Indian styles. This workshop is important for enhancing participants’ practical skills, courteous behavior, and social etiquette.
